Today, the EMH Regional Medical Center is a nationally recognized facility comprised of more than 2,700 employees, physicians and volunteers. In the century since its inception, the mission of caring for and improving the health of community has remained steadfast and will continue for years to come.
The EMH Regional Medical Center is the cornerstone of the EMH Regional Healthcare System, which is comprised of three main campuses: The Medical Center in Elyria, Amherst Hospital in Amherst; and The EMH Center for Health & Fitness in Avon. Together with multiple physician offices and health-specialty centers, the EMH Regional Healthcare System serves the healthcare and fitness needs of greater Lorain and western Cuyahoga counties.
