When Should I Consider Using the Wound Care Center? If you have a sore or wound that is not significantly better in a month, or healed entirely in two months, you should ask your doctor about the Wound Care Center.

The center offers four exam rooms and two state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen chambers.
HBO Therapy
Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy has shown to speed the healing of wounds such as diabetic ulcers, arterial and venous ulcers and pressure ulcers. The chamber surround the patient in 100 percent oxygen at a pressure level about two and a half times greater than normal pressure in the atmosphere. This helps the patient's blood carry more oxygen to the wound, thus speeding healing time.

The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. No referral is needed. Services are covered by most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
