Have you been diagnosed with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, irritable bowel syndrome, or would just like to lose weight?
EMH offers the Healthy Lifestyle Medical Nutrition Therapy program to target your nutritional concerns. Together, you and a registered dietitian will plan a program tailored just for you.
During the 45-minute initial session, the registered dietitian will discuss health concerns related to diet, review your previous diet, if any, and work with you to make some permanent lifestyle changes. A diet plan will be created with your input. You will be asked to keep a food journal and bring it with you to your follow-up session, which is included with the first visit.
Some insurance companies cover a visit for medical nutrition therapy with a diagnosed medical condition. Contact your insurance company to verify insurance coverage.
We also offer group classes for controlling your cholesterol and we have a 12-week weight loss program.
